I just released RSS Runner 0.5 !
This release provides many great things that you asked me:
- The user interface is now more clear and rich… And less blue, as you asked me!
- Rss Runner now supports auto-rotation: you can use it on Portrait or Landscape modes
- The “Feed” screen now provides you 3 sort options: by title, by unread item count, or by your own custom mode. This custom mode allows you to reorder feeds manually
- The application Settings screen provides you a way to define which feed sort option must be preselected
- The first screen, which was presenting the other Golden-Apps applications, has been removed because it was not very useful
Some bugs appeared in this version so I just submitted a new version (0.6) to Apple that fixes them: stay tuned!

It might be neat to have a favorites option. You know to mark certain articles as ones you want to come back to or save for later or that you want to save.
Also, if you wanted to save an article from a feed, is it possible or when the feed gets updated will it be removed? I use to use Resco News on my Palm and you could select certain articles that it would store in its cache.
Love it!
In-app email & full browser support (page zooming) will make rss runner perfect
@Tom S : I will think about it, it is interesting !
@Eugene : OK !
Nice application.
But when the next release out ?
Because the 0.5 release is very slow (I have + 50 rss feed) and crash often
.
Thank you
@Zast: Sometimes Apple takes more time to erview applications. It should be accepted in few days.
If this version does not solve your problems do not hesitate to e-mail me.
Thanks for a great app … I was able to almost seamlessly move from a WinMo device to my iPhone. I would like to ’second’ the Faborites request. Maybe when selecting an article as a favorite, it could copy the article to a favorites group. This way it is still available even after the original has dropped from the feed.
Thanks again!
@Ron: OK, I’ll see
I would like to see a method for segregating feeds, like some kind of folder system. That way I could keep my tech feeds seperate from my news feeds, etc.
Also, when you tap the ‘check’ button to mark all feeds as read, it would be nice for it to automatically back up to the previous screen.
Otherwise, this is a fine app. I am looking forward to watching it mature.
@Jeff: I am thinking about all of these possible features. In few days, I will post a news in this website to talk about the roadmap
