#1 Very simple and highly useable interface

  • When you starts the application, you directly see your feeds: you can use it quickly !
  • You can browse your feeds in an intuitive way, like the iPhone Mail application.
  • You can read feed item summaries clearly.
  • You can navigate to feed item Web pages without having to open Safari, using the embedded Web browser !
  • You can share your favorite feed items : e-mails, FaceBook, LinkedIn and Twitter
  • You can configure your own settings: font size, automatic feed refresh on startup…
  • You will never see any advertising on the application and you do not need to create any account to use the application: install it and enjoy !

#2 Complete feed management

  • RSS Runner supports 9 feed formats: Atom 0.3, 1.0, RSS 0.9, 0.91, 0.92, 0.93, 0.94, 1.0, 2.0 !
  • You can add a feed by directly typing its URL or by typing URL of a web page (RSS Runner will then find an associated feed).
  • You can also add feeds by searching feeds: you have all feeds of the world in your hand !
  • You can as well add feeds by importing an OPML file. So you can easily read feeds of your favorite feed readers !
  • You can finally add feeds by importing feeds from your Google Reader account by simply typing your login and password.
  • You can edit, delete and mark your feeds as read.
  • You can sort your feeds by title, unread count or custom position

  • Your feeds are stored on your device: feed summaries are completely cached so you can read them everywhere, even offline !
  • User interface has been designed to allow you to easily track progress of your feed updates.
  • When you are updating your feeds, you can continue to read them.

#4 Optimized for iOS 4 and iPhone 4

  • Multitasking fast-app switching: you can leave the application and back later, picking up right where you left off (no need to wait for the application to reload)
  • Multitasking background execution and local notifications: you can start downloading all feeds and then leave the application, it will alarm you as soon as download is completed
  • High-definition images: application images have been designed to improve your experience on iPhone 4 Retina display screen
